We are continuing with our main emphasizes here at New Generation – evangelism and discipleship. We continue to see folks make professions of faith and growth in those we are discipling. We are able to report the
following progress for the month:
- 74 – contacts
- 9 – Discipleship mtgs.
- 22 – shared the gospel
- 2 – profession of faith
- 1 - rededication
A group of our dedicated families met recently to plan and discuss our outreach and to try to improve on our outreach methods. Our plan is to meet again soon to solidify some plans for the future
This is an excerpt from Chris’s report for the month. This will give you an opportunity to get to know Chris better.
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Gal 6:9)
Praise the Lord because He has allowed me to take part in seeing this promise fulfilled by Him! About a year ago during one of the severe storm days, I spoke with a woman named Theresa at Emerald Greens apartment complex. I felt compelled to warn her of God’s wrath that would come on our sin if we do not flee to the shelter of Jesus Christ. About a week ago, about one year later from our first conversation, she came into Mission Norman – and she still remembered my name! But the best part is that the Lord allowed me to again explain the gospel - this time more thoroughly, and she prayed to receive Christ!
I’m so grateful to God for allowing me to minister to Theresa. I am so excited that if at New Generation we will continue to plant, water, and sow into the lives of people in Norman, God will give the growth. And if we do not give up, we will in due season reap! And for Theresa God allowed me to sow AND reap! What a rich reward it is to labor in the field of souls – the harvest is plentiful – we just need more workers! Lord, send workers into Your harvest!

“One sows and another reaps.” (John 4:37)
“Neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor.” (1 Cor 3:7-8)
As always, thank you again for your encouragement, financial and prayer support. If you are in Norman on a Sunday, we meet at 10:30 am and at 5:00 pm for a meal and regular service. Come and visit us at 724 Fairway Dr.
